Curated by artist, music journalist, and selector Abhi Meer, 'FRICTION' transforms Method Art Space in Kala Ghoda into a living counter-institution. Combining spatial sound environments, modular synthesizer improvisations, DIY print zines, and ambient light sculptures, the exhibition offers a sanctuary for independent sonic subcultures that operate outside commercial art market structures.
Visitors are immersed in an evolving acoustic architecture that interrogates how sound shapes urban geography, resistance movements, and emotional solace in 24/7 megacities.
