The Eternal Within

In 'The Eternal Within', veteran painter Dr. Douglas John presents a deeply introspective suite of non-figurative canvases at the legendary Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai's historic Kala Ghoda precinct. Through bold impasto textures, rhythmic brushwork, and ethereal color fields of crimson, ochre, and deep ultramarine, John seeks to capture internal spiritual resonances that transcend verbal language.

The exhibition invites visitors to step away from the bustling urban roar of South Mumbai into a meditative sanctum where color and form converse with the infinite.
