Badly Remembered Things

Renowned graphic novelist and artist Sarnath Banerjee presents 'Badly Remembered Things' at Project 88, Colaba. Known for landmark graphic novels such as 'Corridor' and 'The Harappa Files', Banerjee’s latest suite of drawings and text-panels explores the humorous, labyrinthine corridors of faulty human recollection.

Through whimsical illustrations, dry humour, and historical digressions, Banerjee sketches forgotten municipal clerks, amateur detectives, eccentric tea-stall philosophers, and suburban legends. The exhibition playfully celebrates the gap between objective historical record and the whimsical, fallible nature of personal memory.
