'Iconic: Masterpieces of Indian Modern Art' brings together one of the most comprehensive private museum selections of non-exportable national art treasures and seminal modern works ever assembled in New Delhi. Spanning late 19th-century academic realism through the early 21st-century avant-garde, the showcase includes rare oils by Raja Ravi Varma, poetic washes by Abanindranath and Nandalal Bose, brooding figures by Jamini Roy, and seminal masterworks by M.F. Husain, F.N. Souza, S.H. Raza, and Tyeb Mehta.
The exhibition offers viewers an immersive chronological journey through India's artistic awakening, charting how indigenous traditions synthesized with global modernism to create a world-renowned visual heritage.
