Sri Pichwai

'Sri Pichwai' at Forum Art Gallery in Chennai presents a distinguished curatorial showcase featuring the artistic practice of Yugdeepak Soni. The exhibition brings together carefully selected artworks that capture thematic depth, material mastery, and contemporary cultural discourse.

A solo showcase of 400-year-old Rajasthani Pichwai devotional painting revitalized through the practice of Udaipur artist Yugdeepak Soni. Using natural mineral pigments and semi-precious stone dust on handmade paper, the exhibition highlights sacred representations of Lord Shrinathji.

Visitors to Forum Art Gallery will experience how the artist(s) navigate regional aesthetics, personal memory, and contemporary formal experimentation. Through nuanced spatial installation, thoughtful lighting, and rich textural engagement, this exhibition stands as a compelling highlight of Chennai's vibrant cultural season.
